Who are we?

The photo is a little grainy, a little blurry and ever slightly old, just like us now. This is us, circa 1996, when we first met on the island and dated. This photo was taken in our favourite spot. You may already know it, but you will undoubtedly pass by it often on the buggy.

Since the days of the Spice Girls knowing what they wanted, Tupac conspiracy theories beginning their never-ending circle and seeing absolutely no one with a mobile phone glued to their hand, we have spent many years living in Sydney. We also know that we missed Hamilton Island greatly and so thus made our purchase in June 2023.

After four weeks renovating Anchorage 1, we now invite you to share our love for the island. Sit on the deck and enjoy a morning coffee with the birds, head up to One Tree Hill and watch the magnificent sunsets or simply bury your toes in the sand at Catseye Beach.
